The 5th day of the Paryushan Parva is celebrated as Anuvrat Chetna Divas (Anuvrat Consciousness Day).
His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman preached in today's Prime Sermon that Anuvrat Revolution was a boon by Acharya Tulsi which tells about the matter of Sanyam. If we have to make our lifestyle better Anuvrat should enter the layman's life. One of the dimension of Anuvrat is justification while the other one is Ahimsa (non violence and mercy). A layman should also be merciful in his actions. Therefore, If Anuvrat comes in the life of a layman, it becomes full of sanctity.
