Arthamaṇḍalī

A sub-division of Maṇḍalī (group of ascetics for collective performances);

the Maṇḍalī in which there is arrangement for the ascetics to sit together for contemplating over, comprehending and retaining the artha, (i.e., meaning) (of the scripture).

iya suddha suttamaṃḍali, dāvijjati atthamaṃḍalī ceva.
