Discourses By Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri - June 18 - 19, 2016 

JCSC is happy to announce  a 2 day facilitated Discourse program by Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri on June 18 -19, 2016 at the Jain Center, Buena Park. Admission for both days is free and Swamivatsalya Lunch will be provided on both the days. The Discourses will be in Gujarati. There will be a drama program called "The Life of Kalikaal Sarvagna Hemchandra Acharya" on June 18.

New JCYC Committee - 2016 - 2017

The New JCYC Committee for the year 2016-2017 has been announced.

We wish the entire committee a good luck and hope that they would do even better than their predecessors. We had a overwhelming number of applicants - more than 35!! We wish to thank the selection committee who went through the process to select the best of them.

If you happen to see these new committee members at the temple / Pathshala, wish them good luck - they are our future!!

Wellness Challenge - Walk A Total Of 12 Miles

For the upcoming weekly challenge we are challenging the participants to "walk a total of 12 miles.” Walking is an exercise that people have enjoyed for centuries. It is safe, and the risk of injury or strain is lower than it is with other types of exercise. The cost involved in walking is low, because you just need a pair of comfortable shoes, or you may even walk barefoot. Walking for 10 minutes a day yields numerous benefits, and you can begin to experience these soon after you begin your walking routine. Consult your health practitioner before beginning any exercise program to assure that you do not have health conditions or limitations that affect your ability to exercise safely.
