Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Hyderabad celebrated Mahaveer Jayanti in a unique way from 15th to 19th April, 2016. They organiged the following programmes-
(1) On 15th April, 2016 they distributed lunch and eatables in Home for disabled, Hyderabad.
(2) On 16th April, 2016 they organiged a singing competetion of devotional songs dedicated to Lord Mahaveer.
(3) On 17th April, 2016 the entire Jain community, Hyderabad organized a rally to demand the Government to announce Mahaveer Jayanti as a Government holiday. Terapanth Kanya Mandal, Hyderabad performed a dance on the song Gandhi Ke Punya Vatan Composed by Sadhvi Pramukha Mahashramani Kanakprabha. All praised this performence very much.
(4) On 18th April, 2016 they started the 2nd centre of Mahapragya computer and sewing which was Inaugurated by Cantonment MLA G. Sai Anna.
(5) On 19th April, 2016 they organized a blood donation and Sujok therapy camp and Sumudra Swagat Geet among 5000 people.
