                      Updhan Tap

Updhan Tap is one of the most wonderful and holy Tap in Jainism. In this Tap, Jain follower needs to live with Jain Sadhu/Sadhvi. This Tap lasts for 45 days, if you are doing it for the first time, 35 days if for second time and 28 days for the third time.
You can start with 18 days tap to be eligible for Navkar mantra recitation.

During this Tap, Tapasvis need to have Two Fast (Chhath), Fast (Upvas), Half Fast (Ekasanu), Biyasanu or Aayambil.

Along with Fast and other things, they have to do some more Kriyas of Jainism  eg Two times Pratikaman, Vandana and more. Tapasvi's need to wake up by 3:30 AM in the morning and can sleep by 10:00 PM.

99 Yatra of Shatrunjay Giriraj Mahatirth, Palitana.

Palitana is considered to be an eternal pilgrimage.Thousands and lakhs of souls embraced "Samadhi"- death - Mahanirvana. Of the 24 Tirthanksrs, 22 tithankars enhance the glory of this pilgrimage by blessing it with their touch. Lord Rishabhdev visited this pilgrimage 99 times, which itself is an inspiration for the followers of Jainism to do "Navanu Yatra". With every Yatra day you have to perform Navannu Yatra Vidhi.
                      Note:
We have spiritually recognized tapsvis of 99 Yatra of Shatrunjay,by 99 prakari puja in derasar with each puja to Tapsvi before. This time we will recognize other than them with physical recognition on 24th April,2016.We request only those tapsvi who were not recognized before to send their information.

Wellness Challenge - Eat Atleast 1 Serving Of Leafy Green Vegetables Everyday

For the upcoming weekly challenge we are challenging the participants to "eat at least 1 serving of leafy green vegetables daily.” Working out regularly to get a fitter body is a must, but you also need a healthy diet if you want the best results. A balanced and nutritious eating plan is important for all-around health, but there are specific foods that work harder to help you get fit. When you read about superfoods, you might think about foods that are highly nutritious and keep disease at bay. These are often validated claims, but superfoods can also help  you in other ways. For more information and to participate in the challenge, click here.
