Jainism is an ancient religion, which originates from Eastern India. There are around 4,000,000+ followers of Jainism with the majority population based in India. Jains are one of the wealthiest communities in India and most influential in the finance and business sectors.

 4. FRENCH AND SWISS DOCTORS TO STUDY LIFESTYLE OF JAINS

To study the lifestyle of Jains, a team of 20 doctor from France and Switzerland would visit Palitana, Patan, Porbandar, Santalpur, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Mount Abu and Udaipur. During this two weeks tour, they will interact with Jain monks, experts and will study in libraries of scriptures.

 5. THE TALLEST JAIN IDOL TO BE INSTALLED AT NASHIK,
MAHARASHTRA ON FEBRUARY 11.

A 108 feet standing idol of the first Tirthankar Bhagwan Shri Rishabhdev, which is the highest Jain idol in the world, is being carved from a single stone at the 2,500ft high hills of Mangi Tungi and is all set to be installed on February 11.
