Surat Mahila Mandal organized a Gujarat state level workshop "Design Your Destiny" under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Mahila Mandal.
The programme took place under the holy presence of Sadhvi Sadhna Shree, Sadhvi Kailashwati and Samani Charitra Pragya with their respective groups.
It started with the melodious 'Manglacharana' by the Mahila Mandal. Firstly, the banner was unveiled by the chief guests. The president Dr. Punam Gujrani, TMM Surat and Smt. Kanak Barmecha, Trustee ABTMM, gave welcome speeches.
Surat got a wonderful privilege of getting this workshop conducted by ABTMM's new president Smt. Kalpana Baid. This was the first workshop executed by her holding the office of president.
Some of the important points she emphasized to the women for putting all their efforts during the speech are quoted below –
- Girl Child Safety and Education.
- Maintaining personal and public hygiene.
- Running Schools and support them financially.
Mr. Dinesh Thakur - Vice President, South Gujrat University, Smt. Shanta Pugalia and Smt. Sudha Vyas also gave speeches on interesting topics. Smt. Sudha Vyas summarized her speech with a beautiful line - Every woman has a special quality within - Sadhvi Sadhna Shree preached.
The woman is not only limited to the household but also magnifies the grace of the whole culture. She diminished the meaning of 'Design Your Destiny' in a simple line - We write our destiny with our own hands.
Pooja Vyas cleared the leftover doubts with an amazingly designed PowerPoint Presentation which also depicted some points worth remembering. This session was hosted by Smt. Sunita Surana.
Second session was about "Enrichment". This session marked its beginning with the 'Manglacharana' by Udhna TMM.
Afterwards, a beautiful play about the advent of good luck was presented by Kanya Mandal, Surat. Smt. Kalpana Baid told the way to overcome our demerits by the SWOT Analysis. For soul purification she highlighted the recitation Om, Mahaprana Dhwani and Chanting.
Following this, one more interesting programme about 'Design Your Inner Power' took place which was hosted by Smt. Pukhraj Sethia - National incharge, Kanya Mandal.
She inspired to follow Chawadah Niyama (set of 14 rules) under the concept of 'Jain Beauty Parlour' programme to beautify our Inner Power.
Sadhvi Vimal Pragya preached the importance of Jeewan Vigyan and Prekshadhyan for beautification of soul.
Sadhvi Sadhna Shree preached that human life is very precious and should be made significant. Increase the Inner beauty by sacrificing Outer beauty. Our life should be full of Penance which also empowers our strength.
The programme successfully ended with the vote of thanks by Smt. Chanda Bhogar. This session was conducted by Smt. Seema Bhogar.
300 women from 12 different areas took an active participation in the workshop.
