At the age of 72 years, Bhagvan Mahavirswami left His human body and attained Salvation-Moksha. This day is celebrated as Diwali in whole world among Jains.
At JCSC we will celebrate this auspicious Mahavirswami Nirvan Kalyanak event with Bhakti Bhavna & Nirvan Kalyanak Jaaps.Details are as follows:
 
7:00 PM -10:00 PM-Bhakti Bhavna, Aarti, Mangal Divo

We will join Shree Ramesh Kumarji, the renowned Tabla Player and Shree Neal Kumarji, classical vocal and well versed in Harmonium and Key board in Bhakti Bhavna.

10:00 PM -Navkarmantra jaap.
12:00 AM-Shree Mahavirswami Nirvan Jaap.

Prabhuji's Aangi on this auspicious day will be soul uplifting moments.

Shree Ramesh Kumar ji:
 
Rameshji hails from the renowned Punjab-Jaipur Gharana and his father, Pandit Bansilalji; a much respected and well known Tabla artist has trained Rameshji from a very young age. Rameshji started performing at the age of eight and at the age of 20 he became a Special Grade Musician for the Bombay Film Industry also known as Bollywood, and he was given a life membership of the Cine Musician Association (CMA) in 1979. He has performed with such artists as late Jagjit Singh, Anup Jalota, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ghulam Ali, Pankaj Udhas, Sudha Malhotra, and Shri Hari Om Sharan. Rameshji has performed at such venue and events as Royal Albert Hall, UK with late Jagjit Singh, Pandit Ravi Shanker’s 75th Birthday celebration, World Music Festival, Getty Museum, Carnegie Hall in New York and countries such as Canada, The West Indies, Kenya, South Africa, The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Nepal, and Bangladesh. His style of Tabla playing has made him a sought after Tabla artists by visiting artists.

 
 Shree Neal Kumar ji:
 
Neal is the son of Shri Ramesh Kumar and grandson of Pandit Bansilal Ji. Neal is trained in Vocals by his father Ramesh Kumar and continues to explore the complex Raga system of Hindustani Music on his own. Besides classical vocal, he performs other genres of Indian music like bhajans, ghazals, Bollywood film songs to name a few. He is also very well versed in harmonium and keyboard at a young age of 21. He is already sought by musicians and he has performed for great artists like Anup Jalota and Pankaj Udhas and Pandit Birju Maharaj. He also performed for California African-American Museum (CAAM) for the birthday celebration for Martin Luther King Jr. which was shown on ABC 7 News and the Bahai Center of East Los Angeles for the birthday of Prophet Bahaullah. UCSB has called upon him as a Special Guest Artist to perform Classical Vocal Music for them twice. He has recently produced music albums for various groups and continues to perform for Indian community events. He is a senior at California State University of Long Beach.
