Smt Kalpana Baid, FCA Nominated as president of Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal
Biratnagar, 7th October, 2015Smt. Kalpana Baid, FCA, was Nominated as PRESIDENT of Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal for the term 2015-17 at Biratnagar(Nepal) in the Annual General Meeting of Mahila Mandal held today. There were about 500 Mahila Mandal members representing hundreds of Branches from all Across India, nepal in Biratnagar in pious presence of His Holiness Acharya Shree Mahashramanji, the 11th head of Jain Terrapanth Sect. to attend the annual Adhiweshan of Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal. The Outgoing president of Mahila Mandal, Smt. Suraj Bararia was present with her team alongwith the newly nominated president Smt. Kalpana Baid to seek blessings from Acharyashree through Mangal Path chanted by His Holiness. They also sought blessings from Sadhvipramukha Kanak Prabhaji.
Smt. Kalpana Baid was National Vice-President in the presidentship of Smt. Suraj Bararia. Smt. Kalpana Baid is a chartered accountant by profession. Mrs. Baid is a pragmatic, soft-spoken, loyal and devoted to the growth and development of Jain Terapanth Dharam Sangh and has been working for the cause since last 25 years as an active woman. She has also participated in the National Conference of Terapanth Intellectuals forum held in 1987 at New Delhi in pious presence of His Holiness Acharya shree Tulsi and had been actively participating in the organisational activities of Terapanth since then.
She is the daughter-in-law of ‘Shashansevi’ Late Ranjitsinghji baid of ladnun who was also the vice president of Jain Vishva Bharati.
Her father Ssri G.C. Jain of Raipur(Chhattisgarh) is an eminent Chartered Accountant and an active social worker who has been the architect of Akhil Bhartiya Jain Sanghatana working for the upliftment of the Jain society.Sri Prakash baid, FCA her husband is also attached actively with a number of social Organisations including Acharya Mahapragya Mahashraman Education and Research Foundation at Kolkata as its Trustee Treasurer and also the founder member of Terapanth Professional Forum, a Pan India body of Terapanth Professionals and presently he is a Trustee of TPF National Body.
Mr. Pramod Baid, FCA, Treasurer of Jain Vishva Bharati Ladnun and financial Adviser of Jain Vishwa Bharti Institure, Ladnun is the brother-in-law of Smt. Kalpana Baid
Mr. Manvardhan Baid, MBA and Smt. Khyati Baid also an MBA are Son and Daughter-in-law of Smt. Kalpanaji Baid. Both are active member of TPF from Kolkata.
Enntire family of Ranjitsinghji Baid is dedicated to the association and are active in Terapanth Organisations.
