At the end of this year 2015, there are 2 Board of Directors and 8 Executive Committee positions getting vacant. These positions include 5 of the Officers as well - the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Public Relations Officer. As Jain Center is growing bigger with lot more activities, we need a lot of help and support from the community members in accomplishing our goals. We need dedicated individuals to lead the Jain Center towards much bigger, better and eventful center.
JCSC has announced a 3 member Nomination Committee, which will oversee the entire process of Nomination for all these positions. The members are Jasvant Modi--Chair Person, Sonal Shah and Maulik Shah.
There are 2 forms attached to this email for BOD and EC positions, which also contain the instruction for filling up these forms. Forms can be sent by email, fax or mail. The last date to submit a nomination is October 6, 2015. These forms can also be downloaded from the Downloads section of the Jain Center website: http://www.jaincenter.org. We have also made arrangements so that people can submit their forms electronically from our website.

A confirmation will be sent by email upon receipt of the nomination form. Orientation manual will be emailed to each candidate as nomination forms are received. Orientation manual has standard operating procedures and bylaws. Nomination committee will hold a meeting with all applicants at the Jain Center on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 10:00 am. All applicants are requested to make themselves available for this meeting. A candidate may voluntarily withdraw from consideration by communicating in writing with any member of the Nomination Committee on or before October 11, 2015.
The Nomination Committee will present its report to the EC on October 12, 2015. The EC will follow appropriate due process and procedures in considering the nominees. If an election becomes necessary, the election committee appointed by the EC will conduct it.
