Respected Elders & Friends,
Regarding the subject Salekhna / Santhara subject we all had a meeting at Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi. It was attended by many Supreme Court lawyers and few association heads.
Digambar samaj was also equally well represented lead by Shri Nirmal Ji Sethi and Sr Adv Sushil ji Jain. The action plan discussed:
- A group of lawyers will do the initial drafting and show it to all relevant ppl.
- A group will work on coordinating material evidence from history by contacting various professor, universities and Gurubhagwants who could help us in a larger extent. Anyone who has some material or information can share it with us at the email id
- A group will work on the merits & demerits of appeal in Rajastan High court.
- A group will collect all support of all association and trust to come together in preparation of this matter and later on once all factual and constitutional materials placed in order can file various writ at same time to build pressure.
- A group would work on seeking possibilities of both Rajastan state govt or union govt going for an appeal.
Overall it was a productive meeting and in short one thing was clear and eminent that now we are moving towards a "UNITED JAINISM" movement.
