Jai Jinendra,

Continuing the JCGB bi-annual tradition, we will observe a day of Ayambil Tapa on Saturday, March 28, 2014 at the JCGB Jain Center in Norwood. For those who are not familiar with this special austerity, it is typically nine days of observance. Arihanta, Siddha, Acharyas, Upadhyay, Sadhu, Gnan, Darshan, Charitrya, and Austerity (Tapa). However we will observe for at least one day. It will be a partial fast for that day. The observant will eat only one meal at the Jain Center. The only type of food that will be served are items made with grains and dried beans and only spices can be used are salt and black pepper.

If you would like to participate please call Ranjanben Shah at 508-660-9683 or Ashokbhai Sh ah Shah at 508-226-1866 before Thursday, March 26th, 2014.
