"Dhyan is necessary to attain 'SamyakDarshan' - (Experience of our True Self - The First Awakening - 4th Gunasthanak) Dhyan is also at the root of attaining 'Kevalgnyan', the penultimate stage to 'Moksh'" "Bhagwan Shri Mahavir Swami attained 'Kevalgnyan' after 4515 days of intense and deep meditation (Dharm Dhyan) which culminated into 'Shukla Dhyan'. So, when HE is talking about 'Dhyan' in his 'Deshana' (Scriptures), HE is doing so after successfully practicing 'Dhyan'. HE therefore is giving us scientifically (which requires Theory & Practical) proven method and at the same time, illuminating us on various aspects of the conditions of Mind & Thoughts which HE went through during Sadhana. This is the most authentic scriptural knowledge on the subject of 'Dhyan', which we fortunately have inherited from HIM through various great Sages & Acharyas. The one-day program will try to explore as much as possible on this 'Dhyan Phenomenon'. If you meditate daily for a couple of months, you may not get stressed at all, or slightly stressed. Everyday meditation makes you see things differently. What seemed very important before no longer seems so. What you considered stressful in the past no longer appears so. This is because when you meditate, you understand that you well-being is more important than material things or events, so you naturally stop worrying about them.
