Ahimsa Yatra could not commence as per schedule today also due to heavy fog. This morning's breakfast and programme was at JP International School. The fog cleared by around 11.30 am and His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman commenced his journey towards Sikandara by 12 noon.
The sun and the clouds were playing hide and seek during the course of the journey. Deeply inspired by Acharya Mahashraman, many villagers of Bhaavpur, Poorva, Mahrouli, Khojhaphool resolved to lead a life free from addiction. Listening to the songs played from the caravan that moves right ahead of Acharya, many villagers hurried towards Him from their fields to seek his audience and blessings.
Today's journey was for about 11.9 kms to Sikandara, a kilometer away from National Highway. The former sarpanch of the nearby village Shree Sudheer Yadav and many more people received His Holiness with warmth and respect at the newly constructed Government Polytechnic. A few minutes after arrival, a brief programme was organised. When Acharya Shree gave information about Ahimsa Yatra and inspired the villagers to resolve to accept its aims, most of them present stood up and accepted the vows.
Many people who had vowed to lead an addiction free life wanted to pay donation (alms) to Gurudev. They were informed by the volunteers and other monks that Gurudev does not accept money but will willingly take away their vices from them.
A villager named Ajay Prakash Sharma approached Gurudev and offered him money as a token of respect and requested him to accept it. His Holiness then tried to convince him that they do not keep money with them. They abstain from it. Then he wondered to whom to give the money to. Gurudev said "when we do not accept money, then your money will remain with you only." Yet, he was persistent and Gurudev kept convincing him. Finally he requested and invited Gurudev to his home to seek alms (Bhiksha).
Gurudev said since he would be unable to make it, he will surely send one of his monks. Gurudev instructed one of the monks to go his home for alms. The villager, hence satisfied his emotions by offering the right kind of alms.

कोहरे की प्राकृतिक बाधा के कारण आज का विहार भी निर्धारित समय पर नहीँ हो पाया। प्रातराश और प्रातः कालीन कार्यक्रम ओरैया की जेपी इंटरनेशनल स्कूल मेे ही हुआ। कोहरा समाप्त होते होते करीब साढ़े ग्यारह बज गए परमाराध्य आचार्यवर ने लगभग 12 बजे सिकंदरा की ओर प्रस्थान किया।
विहार के दौरान सूर्य और बादल के बीच आंख मिचोली का खेल चलता रहा। मार्ग में भाऊपुर, पूर्वा, महरोली, खोजाफूल के ग्रामीणोँ ने पूज्यवर से उत्प्रेरित होकर नशा मुक्ति का संकल्प स्वीकार किया। पूज्यवर के आगे आगे गतिमान अहिंसा रथ से प्रसारित ध्वनि तरंगोँ को सुनकर अनेकानेक किसान अपने खेतोँ से दौड़े दौड़े राजमार्ग पर पहुंच रहे थे और दर्शन कर पावन प्रेरणा प्राप्त कर रहे थे।
आचार्यवर 11.9 किमी का विहार कर राजमार्ग से करीब 1 किमी भीतर स्थित सिकंदरा गांव मेँ पधारे। निकटवर्ती गांव के पूर्व सरपंच श्री सुधीर यादव आदि अनेक लोगो ने पूज्यवर की भावभीनी अगवानी की। नवनिर्मित राजकीय पॉलीटेक्निकल कॉलेज मेँ आज का प्रवास हुआ। प्रवास स्थल मेँ पधारने के कुछ समय पश्चात ही ग्रामीणो के लिए संक्षिप्त कार्यक्रम समायोजित किया गया पूज्यवर ने लोगोँ को अहिंसा यात्रा की जानकारी प्रदान करते हुए अहिंसा यात्रा के संकल्प स्वीकार करने की प्रेरणा प्रदान की तो अधिकांश लोग खड़े हो गए और आचार्यवर से संकल्प स्वीकार किए।
कार्यक्रम के पश्चात अनेक लोग कार्यकर्ता और संतों से कहने लगे कि हमने नशा छोडने का संकल्प लिया,अब हमें गुरुजी को दक्षिणा देनी हे। उन्हें समझाया कि गुरुजी रुपए पैसे नहीँ लेते। दक्षिणा मेँ आपकी बुराइयो को ही लेते हैं। अजय प्रकाश शर्मा नामक ग्रामीण तो आचार्यवर के पास पहुंच गया और अपने हाथोँ मेँ रुपए लेकर रुपयो की दक्षिणा स्वीकार करने की प्रार्थना की। पूज्यप्रवर ने उसे समझाया कि हम रुपए नहीँ रखते। तो वह बोला यह रुपए मैं किसे दूं? पूज्यवर ने उससे कहा हम नहीँ लेंगे तो तुम्हारे रूपए तुम्हारे पास ही रहेंगे। उसके बाद भी वह आग्रह करता रहा पूज्यवर भी उसे समझाते गए। आखिर वह बोला गुरुजी आप मेरे घर भिक्षा लेने आ जाओ। पूज्यवर ने कहा हम तो नहीँ आ सकते हमारे किसी मुनि को भेज देतें हैं। वह बोला ठीक हे गुरुजी। पूज्यवर ने एक मुनि को उसके घर भिक्षा के लिए जाने का निर्देश प्रदान किया। उस भाई ने सुपात्र दान देकर दक्षिणा देने की अपनी भावना को पूर्ण किया।
