Jain Samaj Manchester Arhat Touch has organised a Field Trip as part of the curriculum to:

Potters bar Derasar London

Prayer for World Peace Exhibition London on Sunday 19TH October 2014.

This trip is to put into practice the rituals of visiting a Derasar and performing pooja.

Charges are as follows:

Children up to age 16:  £ 5.00 each

Parents and Arhat Touch volunteers: £ 15.00each

Non Members:  £ 20.00each

Arhat Touch Children under the age of 5years must be accompanied by 1 parent.

The trip is also open to Non Arhat Touch Children; however they will be required to be accompanied, by one Parent regardless of the child's age.

The Ayambil Festival (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October)

Ayambil is one kind of an auspicious fast performed during Ayambil Oli where we eat once in a day in one sitting. The food contains only cereals and pulses not sprouted. It is simple spice free food which is boiled or cooked without milk, curd, ghee, oil, oil seeds, green/raw vegetables, fruits and sugar. Of course, NO ROOTS. 

  

Ayambil / Ekasnu at 1.00 pm Sharp.

by Friday 3rd October stating the day you wish to take part in the Aaymbil or Ekasnu.

Please Note: Ayambil / Ekasnu at JSM will only be conducted if a minimum of 10 names are received for each day.
