Terapanth Professional Forum Mumbai

TPF Mumbai organized Vishal Wellness Camp and Seminar on 6th Nov 2011, Sunday at Gujarat Bhavan, Sector15, Vashi.

The proceedings of seminar began with the Manglacharan by Smt. Shweta Aacha.

Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Balvantji Chordia, Secretary TPF-Mumbai. Panel of Doctors and other dignitaries were welcomed by Shri. K.S. Bapna, B.L. Bordia and Dr. Prince Surana.

Seminar started with lecture from renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Santosh Shetty (Raheja Hospital) who gave insight on latest trends of Joint replacement surgery and gave useful tips on how to manage & prevent back pain. Dr. Shishir Shetty, renowned cancer surgeon (Tata Memorial Hospital) then shared his vast knowledge on causes of Breast Cancer and how to detect & prevent it. Finally renowned cardiac surgeon, Dr. V.T. Shah (Breach candy hospital) gave vital information on how to prevent Heart attack and presented simple ways to keep your heart healthy. Shri Deepak Dagliya then gave details of next events to be organized by TPF-Mumbai on 20th & 27th Nov 2011. He also presented his idea on collecting Matrimonial data to help the community. The entire session was compered by Smt. Nirmalaji Chandaliya, Chairman, Terapanth Mahila Mandal - Mumbai.

Medical Camp offered various health checkups and was well received by large group of people. Here are some numbers for reference:

The event was graced by presence of Shri. Salilji Kachhara, Smt. Premlata Kachhara, Shri. D.C Surana and trusties from Gujarat Bhavan who offered the venue free of cost and showed their faith & belief in Terapanth Dharma Sangh. The event also noted some of the TPF members Shri Salilji Lodha (Sr vice president national), Shri K.S.Bapna, Shri Parasji Tater, Dr. Balvantji Chordia, Shri Ramesh Singhvi, Shri Mahendraji Kachhara, Shri Mahavirji Ranka, Shri Kamalji Mehta, Shri Vikas Jain to name few who worked in tandem to organize the event successfully.

At the end, vote of thanks were delivered by Shri Jitendra Semlani who expressed his gratitude to panel of Doctors and all the members involved in the event.
