Ladnun - Jain Vishva Bharati - Trip To Spirituality [17] 3rd IPMC - 18.00 Gaman Yog & Guru Darshan

After dinner, the whole group was preparing for Gaman Yog and Guru Darshan by His Holiness Acharya Mahaprajna. For Gaman Yog the participants gathered in front of the building where the meals were taken, and started to form rows of two, men and women apart.

To reach a state of high attention for and concentration on the present, silence should be kept during Gaman Yog. The members of the organising committee reminded this rule to the participants whenever it was neccessary.
On our way to Guru Darshan, all of us enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the campus park, accompanied with the sounds of the homecoming birds as parrots, pigeons, peacocks, crows, finches, throstles, woodpeckers, sparrows, and many others, returning to their tree for sleep. The trees were inhabited by the different birds like districts in our towns.

When the group had reached the location of Guru Darshan, the group of men entered first, followed by the women. Many monks were already there, waiting for the hour of Pratikraman in presence of Acharyshree. The atmosphere inside the hall was as bright and detached as the attitude of the attendant saints.

Guru Darshan in presence of the monks was an unforgettable experience.

Sometimes it was an occasion for questions and answers.
