Tagore Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan

The first minimally invasive computer navigated high flex knee joint at Tagore Hospital Jaipur has been completed successfully. Mr. Balwant Mehta, one of those people working for the development of Tagore Hospital into a world class hospital, has undergone the first surgery of this kind in Tagore Hospital Jaipur himself on 24th September and has reported on 7th October his extremely well feeling and his happiness on the successful completion:

I am back home now after a very successful operation conducted very efficiently by Dr. S.B. Solanki, MS., FRCS., supported by Dr. Allahabadia from Mumbai, Dr. Aggarwal and Dr. Pokharna from Jaipur, and a team of technical experts from Johnson&Johnson India who had set up the computer for navigation. The results are excellent.

Dr. Solanki, senior director-cum-surgeon, reported on 4th October:

Everything went on very well for Mr Mehta saheb and he is recuperating fast. I am glad to inform you that he is now independently walking with a walker and can bend his new knee beyond 90 degrees. We all thank everyone who had shown trust in us. This has been a milestone for our hospital and we shall keep up our efforts to improve healthcare.
We will keep up-to-date the readers of HereNow4U by further reports.
