JVB London - Samani Punya Pragyaji Narrates The Story Of Gajsukumal

This year’s Paryushan Lectures at Jain Vishva Bharati London were taken from the Jain scripture of “ANTAGADADASSAO”. This comprises ten stories connected with the theory of karma. Samani Punya Pragyaji narrated the story of “Gajsukumal” [in Hindi] over a period of six days.

The Story

Gajsukumal was the ninth son of Devki and Vasudev. Devki’s brother Kansa had killed her previous seven children.
The name of their eighth son was
Krishna and the ninth son was called Gajsukumal.
The story takes place at the
time of Lord Neminath, the twenty second Tirthankar.
