Launch of JSGD Spring Fundraiser
Jai Jinendra and Pranam Society Members,
We hope everyone is in good health and looking forward to the great spring weather we have ahead of us. Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on many communities across the world, but with on-going vaccination efforts, we hope that we are turning a corner on this pandemic and the prospects of returning to normal life are increasing by the day.
The last 12+ months have also been challenging financially for JSGD. Our structural costs have continued even during the shutdown with very little revenue coming in through member pledges. In fact, our overall cash balance has declined significantly during 2020 and through the 1st quarter of 2021.We expect continuous decline in JSGD’s cash position for the remainder of 2021 and the temple is in urgent need of your financial support. We are providing additional details below for full transparency, so all our members can understand the complete picture of our deteriorating financial health.
How can JSGD members support the Spring Fundraiser?
The EC, BOT, along with a team of JSGD volunteers will be calling the society members during this Spring Fundraiser to discuss temple’s financial struggles at the moment, raise much needed funds and solicit your feedback to help us plan for the year.
Members can support the Spring Fundraiser through numerous sponsorship opportunities below. You can potentially double your donations by getting a matching contribution from your employer. We request that you please review your employer’s HR policies around matching contributions to support non-profit organizations.
