JSGD Temple Reopening Plan

Hope everyone is in good Saata.
While we continue to keep our members safe and navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, we also continue to work towards the gradual reopening of our Temple. With that, starting this Saturday, 06-Mar-21, we will be opening our Bhumati area so that members can do the Parikrama around the 24 Bhagwans. In addition, members who wish to sit down will also be able to do so in the marked areas.
However, to continue to stay safe, members will not be permitted to touch the Idols as sanitization is still a concern. For safety of members and others, social distancing and the protocols listed below are to be followed in our Temple premises.
We will continue to keep our Temple open every morning and evening.
Morning hours:10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Evening hours: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
For your own safety and safety for others, anyone visiting the Temple is required to follow the process detailed below:
- Enter through the Entry door and exit through the Exit door to avoid crossing paths
- Sign the waiver form, one per family, for every visit. This waiver form helps in contact tracing.
- Use the shoe rack
- It is MANDATORY to cover your mouth and nose with cloth face cover/ mask while inside the Temple at all times
- Avoid close contact and maintain at least 6 feet distance with others. The social distancing markers are placed around the Prayer Hall.
- No socializing in temple or in parking lot.
- Please limit the number of people inside the prayer hall to 25. You may have to wait outside the prayer hall for others to come out.
- Please limit the time inside the prayer hall to maximum of 15 min so that others are not waiting outside.
- Members are NOT permitted to do Abhishek or touch any Bhagwanji, Arti Thali, Ghantaji, chair or any common pooja material.
- Members are not permitted to cross the taped-out areas.
- Basement, Kitchen remains closed and changing clothes in temple is NOT permitted.
- Monitor your health. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and DO NOT come to the Temple.
With everyone’s safety in mind, members will be required to practice and comply with the State restrictions, CDC guidelines, and the suggested safety measures.
