The Support Of Faith: 49 ►Non-violence and childish mind

Published: 26.02.2020

Non-violence is a universal and uniform subject. It does not distinguish between East and West and it also does not discriminate between female and male. It has no commitment in respect of gender, colour etc. Where discrimination is imagined, compulsion is a must to divide man—non-violence cannot reveal. A social system based on equality exhibits non-violence. The power and light of non-violence assimilate everything and illuminate also. People, whose thought is penetrative with regard to the new system of the world, cannot dissolve the value of non-violence.

In order to materialize non-violence innocence alike a child is required to evolve. Child does not know the dual status of own and others. Own interest, own pleasure, own prosperity, own people—a child does not have such narrow feelings. As he grows up, he grips the narrow behavioural culture of elders. Seeds of violence groom in such culture. Pure foundation of self-realization can be suitable to flourish non-violence.

Violence is something like darkness. When virulent attitude grasps anyone’s mind, he is not in a position to judge. He cannot differentiate between proper and improper deeds. He cannot feel the pain of others. His sensitivity is diluted. He does not have any faith in human values. In the density of valuelessness, he cannot identify the exact path.

Non-violence is the channel of light. People belonging to non- violent environment keep their eye of conscience opened. What they observe, they do the same with deep sensitivity. He observes the sufferings of others by the eyes of his experience. It is not at all possible for him to injure any one and so even he cannot think to injure anybody.

If any person can demolish the surroundings full of problems and complexities as a result of increasing violence, he can do so only with the support of non-violence. It is required that the power of non-violence is recognized and the power of non-violence is absorbed.
