The Support Of Faith: 48 ►Tracks of Violence

Published: 25.02.2020

One question often strikes in my mind that why men are becoming so barbarous? Once there was a time when undesirable incidents used to happen. Now there is neither the need of darkness nor loneliness. In the open daylight such mishaps are taking place about which we are terrified by listening and reading. It appears that man’s mind has totally become anarchic. It has poisoned human relations. Country like India, which has achieved independence on the verge of non-violence, humanity is choked so brutally that pains me.

Questions one after another is being raised so as to what man wants? The rope of faith and reliance which had tied up man, had become slack all of a sudden? Where its positive approach vanished away? Why is he pushing the ray of hope into darkness? Whether the bridle of the chariot carrying problems has slipped from his hands? Then why the solution of any problem is not being sorted out? Why the pen of learned people is deviating from cultural and contemporary values and is clinched to political issues? Who has the answer to reply these questions?

There is an Arabic proverb—‘An ass does not fall into the hole for the second time’. If this sense of an ass pours into the mind of men, he can dissimilate many unwanted happenings. But he repeatedly becomes angry and violent. Basically humanity consists in faith, non-violence and peace. His blood does not consist violence. But it appears that the virus of violence has become so effective that has made non-violence inactive and dormant. Under these circumstances non-violent powers have to organize themselves and to acquire new stamina, otherwise violence will become more aggressive and will blemish humanity.

Man is living in the culture of hypocrisy. He changes his mask frequently and moulds himself according to the situation. Hypocritic attitude is the biggest hindrance to his development. A piece being dragged by the flow can go far long, but it is indifferent to its destination. The fate of a piece having no goal is understandable. But when a conscious creature like man forgets his goal, crushes humanity and accepts the brutal attitude, which will then go for ‘Yogkshem’? The tracks of violence may be simple and straight, but the destination of peace, safety and secured future cannot be achieved through these tracks.
