Team Anuvrat met The Minister for External Affairs Gen.V.K.Singh to congratulate him for successfully leading the operation, named "Sankat Mochan", to safely evacuate stranded Indians from South Sudan, which has been rocked by violence that has claimed hundreds of lives.
The Ahimsa yatra (Non-Violence March) of Acharya Mahashraman that began from Red Fort,New Delhi has reached Guwahati via Nepal, Bhutan and Bengal in a bid to awaken the masses with three objectives - To promote harmony, To escalate morality and To free everyone from addiction. Anuvrat Samiti updated the Minister on the Anuvrat Seminar being held from 21st to 23rd August at Guwahati in the pious presence of Acharya Mahashraman. The Hon'ble Minister paid his venerations to Acharyashri and expressed his desire to visit him and seek his blessings.
Gen.V.K.Singh was greeted with flowers by Vice-Pres.Sri. Shantilal Patawari, Advisor -Dr.Dhanpat lunia and Sri Babulal Dugar and Secretary.Dr.Kusum lunia and Joint Sec.Dr Hansa Sancheti presented the Anuvrat Magazine. Anuvrat Team was accompanied by Salauddin Saifi Pres. Ghaziabad Zila (BJP) and Sri.Omendra khasana.Many People took a pledge to live an addiction free life on this occassion.
